Scalp Micropigmentation (Men & Women)

  • Your Guide: Safe healing and beautiful long-lasting results.
  • Total Healing Time: 21–30 days (color softens 20–30% as the scalp settles).
  • Touch-Up Appointment: 4–8 weeks after the initial session.
  • What to Expect: Slight darkness, lightness, or patchiness is normal while the pigment settles before touch-up.
  • Days 0–3 β€” Protection Phase: Keep scalp clean, dry, and untouched.
  • No Washing: No rinsing, wiping, or touching the scalp.
  • No Sweating: Avoid gym, sauna, running, yoga, or heat exposure.
  • No Sun: Avoid direct sun and tanning beds.
  • Hygiene: Sleep on a clean pillowcase. Avoid hats, caps, or helmets.
  • Normal: Mild tightness, dryness, or light itching.
  • Days 4–7 β€” Early Healing: Small, dry micro-flakes may appear β€” do not pick.
  • Sweat: You may lightly dab sweat (no rubbing or friction).
  • No Shampoo: Still avoid washing or scrubbing the scalp.
  • Avoid: Heat, sweating, sun exposure, helmets, or beanies.
  • Normal: Temporary darkness or unevenness during this phase.
  • Days 8–14 β€” Gentle Care Phase: You may now gently wash the scalp.
  • Cleansing: Use fragrance-free gentle cleanser only. Fingers only β€” no nails or brushes.
  • Drying: Pat dry gently β€” do not rub.
  • Moisturize: Light, fragrance-free moisturizer is okay.
  • Avoid: Oils, exfoliants, and harsh shampoos. Pigment naturally softens 20–30% now.
  • Day 15+ β€” Maintenance Phase: Return to normal routine slowly.
  • Wash: Resume regular washing.
  • SPF: Start using SPF 30+ daily to protect pigment.
  • No Hair Dye: Avoid hair dye for 30 days minimum.
  • Avoid: Tanning beds, saunas, and heavy sweating until β‰₯ 30 days.
  • Outcome: The scalp should now look soft, blended, and natural.
  • Absolutely Avoid: Picking, peeling, scratching, excessive sweating, pools, oceans, hot tubs, sunbathing, tanning beds, harsh shampoos, exfoliants, hair dye (30 days).
  • Normal: Mild redness, light itching, dryness/tightness, slight darkening before softening, tiny flakes (do not pick).
  • Not Normal: Pus, yellow/green discharge, spreading redness, hot skin, severe pain, swelling, fever, red streaking β€” call 1-855-313-1114.
  • Long-Term Care: Use SPF daily, avoid long sun exposure, moisturize regularly, schedule touch-ups every 1–3 years depending on skin and lifestyle.
